One of the causes of tooth ache can be an infected tooth. Rather than taking your tooth out we can save it with a root filling – no more infections, no more toothache.

The side of my tooth has broken off – can it be saved?

Sometimes, a broken tooth cannot be filled but we can still repair old, heavily filled or broken teeth with crowns and inlays.

My wisdom teeth are killing me.

It is not always necessary to extract problem wisdom teeth, but if you have pain from the same side on more than one occasion, you should get them checked.

Tooth ache can be caused by a variety of factors and can be mild through to severe. If you feel like you have dental pain then we recommend you make an appointment to come to see us as soon as possible. Our caring dentists in Kings Lynn, Norfolk will take time to examine you to try to discover the cause of your dental pain and then treat it with care and skill. We will also advice you as to why the pain or ache started and let you know of the best ways to avoid it in future.

If your tooth has broken, then please do not ignore this. A broken tooth may mean the covering of the tooth, the enamel, has been lost. This then leaves the remainder of the tooth more exposed and likely to wear away in the long term. Fractured or broken teeth can also be sharp and uncomfortable and in most cases we are are able to smooth this over for you to make it more comfortable, in instances where too much tooth has broken off we may need to fit a crown or cover the area with a filling.
